Excited!

Okay, so I'm days away from publishing my first book to Kindle and Barnes and Noble and I am so excited!  I think I've got a great story... and I've chosen to do it a little differently... but I always do things a little differently. 

When I started working on my book, I had all the research and all the background information I needed to write... well, as I write more and more of the book, I found myself refering back to the research and then throwing little things in that I thought the reader needed to know... my son suggested just putting everything in a prologue.  I started on the prologue, and the prologue got longer and longer and longer, so now, my first "book" is actually going to be a novelette the prologue to the book itself.

I'm excited to see what kind of reaction it gets.  Wish me luck!!
